Hi all!

At first, I would like to say a big hello to everybody here, I'm new on this forum. I'm from Hungary, so sorry for my poor english.
I have my s60 for almost 2 months, and I'm completely new in volvo's world :) I have had a Mondeo Mk I before.

My annoying problem is, that my Hu 603 radio usually doesn't want to play some of my cd-s. I mean burned cds. I tried an old one, burned 2 years ago, its okay. But now, I burned one 3 weeks ago (first time for this volvo), and the first track couldn't be played. The playes only seeks endlessly. Skip to 2.nd track, and everything is fine. The whole cd is okay, except the first track.
But after this first issue, all of my newly burned cds are completely unplayable. I tried with TDK, with special Audio CD ($2), 4x speed, 8x speed, 16x speed - no sense. The player seeks at the begining of all tracks, but dont start to play.

I bought a cleaner cd, with a small brush on the face, tried to clean the lens, but no success. :(

Oh, and all the burned cds are ok in a desk-player, or any computer. So they are burned well.

Search the forum. I know many people have found out many things about burned CD's. In my S40 some brands work and some will not. I suggest using a program such as "Nero" for your burning. Also, I have had no problems with Memorex CD-R's. I think there are small differences in the thickness of the CD's by different brands. TDK seems to be one brand that only works sometimes.

thanx for the suggestion, I'll try this type of CD!
I'm already using Nero, ver 6.6.0.0. Someone suggested to use Mediaplayer to burn CDs with 1x speed... another try.
