Hi, my v70 just turned 70000 miles and there is a hesitation in the car. I have no warning lights or messages on but on slow acceleration and at constant speeds there is a repeating hesitation. The hesitaion goes away after a couple of minutes when the cruise control is engaged. It feel like a speed regulator is clicking on and off but I know that isn't the case. Any help would be appreciated.

Could be a lot of things. ETC comes to mind though. If not the ETC check the TPS, MAF, O2s or cat.

Hello, Sportsandleisurerep - I wonder if what you are characterizing as 'hesitation' isn't so much hesitation as surging? If it seems more like it is surging under throttle, it is probably the boost control valve, assuming it is a turbo car or an XC70 (which comes with turbo anyhow). If it isn't a turbo car, it very well could be the ETM (Electric Throttle Module) instead, amongst other things. I am also assuming it has received at least 1 set of new plugs by now which I think are done at the 60k service. Anyhow - just a couple of ideas - let me know if I can help further..

- Lynn
