:) it’s dynamic……yet… uRgh has bin bestowin me with a a bunch of problems now…. :angry: i’ve got dis S40 for 3 yrs now and it’s engine needed mounting just aftah 18k miles and there was a weird sound coming frum de trunk like the sound of flickering a coin on a metal plate. What’z dis..???

I sold my first Volvo S40 2.0A because of noisy rear suspension.

My next Volvo S40 T4 had a sport suspension. It rode like a bronco.

I sold that car and bought a S60 2.4 Auto. After my first visit to the service station came noisy suspension hassles. Surely Volvo cannot be making cars with bad suspensions, so I decided to lower the tyre pressure. Now the noises are gone.

Check tyre pressure when your tyres are hot. Escalation in pressure can be as much as 40% during hot weather.
