Hi all
I have a C70, and Im wondering how wide I can go with the tires? Does anyone know? Currently I have 225's on it, but I was thinking 260 maybe. Thanks in advance. Also, Im selling 1 silver 17" Canisto in case anyones interested. Tire included |

lol im not 100% sure, but what I am quite confident in is no 260 on the front, you can hardly turn as it is, imagine it with 260s lol, I did a bit of enquiring around and basically found that no reputable tyre dude was gonna put anything more that 225 on, I have the 18" volvo badged bbs rims btw.

Yeah 260 is extreme. :Sigh:, I have 18s as well. Do you think you'd try a 245?? Maybe lol???

on the front no. I want and will go for something much fatter on the back, but my mind and mainly my money is tied up in my 242GT atm, but I will be doing a stainless exhaust on the C70 reasonably soon, my tyres are in good nick, so when they need replacement i'll put what I can on the back and post up here with the results.

Yeah, i dont plan on doing anything to the body to get them to fit. maybe a slight alteration to the front wheel well...maybe. Im mostly interested on improving the handling thru corners.
