Hi everyone! This is my first post so please bear with me!
I am looking to fit a new stereo to my 850 GLT - K reg.
It comes with a standard cr-708 cassette unit and, upon removing it, I can see it needs a new witring harness adaptor to convert it to a standard ISO.
However, what has confused me is that the cr-708 has a DIN connector labelled power amplifier.
This has confused me as do I now have to connect the stereo into this as well or will just using the wiring harness do?
The new stereo is a very standard Kenwood CD head unit - no frills.
Forgive my ignorance but am pulling my hair our over this (if I had any!) and would really appreciate any help.
Regards,

Rob

well if that model uses a separate amp, you have to pull that too...it should be somewhere in the dash, roughly around the transmission tunnell...on that you can pull the direct wires to the speakers, but make sure to pull it too or fully disonnect it, as it could possibly drain the battery.

i'm not sure if your model does or not...sounds like it, double check that.
