I've been having a number of issues with my Volvo S90. As soon as I fix one thing, another goes wrong. I havn't driven it in over a month now. The latest problem is...
The driver's side turn signal will not turn off. Driver's Side front and back. It's not the bulb contacts, I've changed both. I checked the relay under the hood for the parking light and that works. I really don't want to take it to the dealer and have it check out there. I'll be paying a fortune for something that is probably pretty simple. If anyone else has this problem or has had this problem. Could you please help me out. Thanks |

If the relay is good then I'm sorry to say that it could be a problem with the lighting stalk mechanism - not cheap unless you can pick up a used one.

Update;
I replaced the turnsignal switch the handles the cruse control, highbeams and turnsignal. Its not that. It didn't do a thing. Does anyone know of any relay or part that may have malfunctioned inbetween the turnsignal switch and the relay in the engine. Please help, I have a child and only one car functioning and my wife needs a way to get him to the doctor while i'm at work. Thanks!!! |

Update,
Turns out that the light bulb ends melted and fused together causing a short. Thank god that I decided to take a look at the bulb before I brought it over to the shop. I feel like such an ****, the bulb is the last thing that I considered to be causing the short. At least its fixed! :amen: So, if this happens to you. Check the bulb first! Lesson Learned. |

Had exactly the same problem yesterday, replaced the bulb and I was good to go!
