My check engine light came on and I couldn't do anything about it for a couple of days. Then my a/c compressor died so I had to take it in. They said the check engine light was the vacuum hoses need to be replaced. Anyone know how hard it is to replace them or how much they cost. They wanted $160 just for the hoses plus labor.

:cat: Hi there 1998S90. For $160.00 plus labour-let the agent do it. You might find it is a simple job if you own all the necessary tools and have replacement clips, gizmos and toys at hand.

If the agent does it-they have been trained to do it on somebody else's car-not yours.

Others might have different opinions-so let's hear them :)
