You & your motorcycle outrider Ben met my black beauty (the T4!). Oh yes, and my missus too.

I took you all on on a sedate, gentle drive in the countryside - remember mm?!!!

:haha:

She got serviced & MOT'd on Monday, should be OK 'til oil change in 6 months time.

Did you know that MOTs are all typed-up now & recorded on DVLA computer? It means that you can renew your road tax online, since they've got every car's insurance details on computer now as well. Very clever & convenient, methinks!

not really bbt4. it means it takes 45 min to log onto the system. plus it also means the retest has to be a full test, not just a quick inspection by the examiner. inconveniant. nice idea in principle.

45 minutes? Wow, thats half an hour quicker than queueing at my local Post Office on a Saturday watching dodgy adverts on video - brilliant! :P

I didn't realise that MOT retests now had to be the full jobbie - is that even if done by the same garage/examiner? Presumably then, you have to pay twice if it fails first time? :puzzled:

Sounds like you've been on the wrong end of a personal experience here mong man... Do tell.

when i tested the land rover, it failed on a seat belt and brake light switch. i replaced them, then had to rebook. i got a free retest, but they failed her over the brakes this time. it's a free retest if they can fit it in within the 7 day period.

Let us know if the Landy passes. Surely they can't find anything else!
