Hi Everyone,

The trim on the passenger-side rear door of my 1992 940 turbo fell off without my knowing and I am stuck trying to find a replacement piece of trim but am having no luck. It is the piece of black plastic about knee/shin height that goes across the door. Do you have any suggestions as to where I might be able to locate replacement trim for this make and model? I've tried many online sites to no avail (all sites seem to have the same inventory) but I am hoping one of you might know a good trim site.

thanks in advance,
lolli

Talk to an auto body shop. There is many sources that they have to get the part that you need. I have a friend that is an autobody tech and I've looked at several books from companies that sell reproduction parts that body shops can use to repair a door, in addition Volvo parts should have the same part in their inventory...and lastly you might find it in a salvage yard. Trust me someone somewhere in the world has reproduced the part that you need. I assume you are talking about the black rub strip that protects against parking lot dents.
