Does anyone know the validity of this statement?

"Other than all the changes mentioned above, the 200 Series was almost identical to the 140 and 160 Series from the bulkhead to the very rear end. Even the dashboard was the same as that fitted to the 1973-1974 140 and 160 series."

I have owned a 164 and a 264 and they are COMPLETELY different

and I am not just talking that the man in the street would say they were not even made by same maker cept for the badge to say volvo
