in my 96 960 wagon the third drow which faces the opposite way is locked in the upward position

i have no idea how to fold it back down

any help???

It could be as simple as pulling up on the bottom of the seat.

If this is your problem, the solution is to:

Reach between the lower edge of backrest and the seat bottom and pull the seat bottom towards you (towards the rear of the car).

The seat is hinged at the front and will swing around 180 degrees.

This will allow the back to fold down on top of the seat bottom.

no that didnt work

it is locked somehow

it wont even budge
