I will write down my impressions of it over the next few days:

Day 1-

Just got home from work and there is a nice box sitting outside with Eurosport tuning emblazend on it.

Bring it inside and crack that sucker open! WOW! Much better construction than I anticipated. The heatshield is high quality metal (alumninum?) and appears strong yet light. The welds are professionally done and it has a nice matte black finish. The air inlet hole is HUGE probably 4 inches square... time to get this suit off and get it installed!

Install is finished: Total Time- 25 minutes.

Directions are detailed and clear.
The install was extremely easy and is doable by anyone. Car knowledge is helpful but far from necessary. On a scale of 1-10 with 1 being easiest this is about 1.5, not much harder than droping in a K and N.

Initial Drive-

Wow! You can def feel a slight power difference (5-10 hp is a guess)! The sound is awesome... sounds like someone taking a long deep breath in then a nice big exhale (turbo spooling and releasing). I am extremely happy.

Temperature question:

Because of the set up with the metal heat shield comming very close to the hood and the stock inlet from above the grill temperatures are wondeful. Though I do not have a laser temp gage the difference was more than enough for there to be an extremely noticible difference simply putting my hand inside of both.

With the edition of some simple weather stripping you could easily seal it off from the whole engine bay.

Day 1- Worth it or not worth it?

Def. worth it. Though more expensive than a DIY, the time and aggrivation it saved were enormous. Additionally the complaints about it letting warm air into the intake may have a SLIGHT basis in truth but not nearly enough to make a performance difference. At this point, I say it is a no brainer. DO IT!

NIIIIIIIIIIICEEEE...

A good induction kit should be able to increase your power as well. Gone for dyno-run already?

Dyno is a machine u put the car on, stap the car down, and it measures the wheel horsepower.

An intake or induction kit replaces the stock air filter housing. The box that the air filter is in will be removed and typically replaced with a cone air filter. Sometimes comes with a heat shield. The heat shield is a whole diff issue, but I dont want to get too far off topic...The kit allows more air to enter the engine, hence more power.
