it is not your horn. rather. the connections.

if you alarm horn is separate from your car one ( not sure how they wired them )

then its the connections at the horn.

step 1, figure out if alarm uses the same horn.
step 2, if it doesnt use the same horn, buy replacement horns @ www.ipdusa.com or if it uses the same horns, first check and see if one looks rusted or corroded, then precede to check wiring and ground

not at all, locating them on one of my cars was the hardest thing.

If it's a black plastic horn that you're looking at, then you've got the wrong horn. I disconncted this on my 944T and realized it's not the horn, but part of an anti-theft system, (or so i've heard).

The horns on my car are located underneath the left front bumper of the car. They were 2 flat discs vertically bolted onto the frame with a small holder. I found it easier to detach the holder itself rather than the 2 horns. When I installed the new horn it wouldn't fit underneath the car, so I unclipped the 2 wires and routed them up past the headlamps, making sure not to be too close to the lamps. The clamps that keep the wires connected to the horn are kind of like hot dog buns with clips on either side. If you're gentle with them you can take them off without breaking 'em. The wires leading to the horns have a female end on them, so if you don't want to strip any wires you can take the wires on the new horn, strip about 1/4th of an inch, fold them over, and crimp the wire holder onto them. It's kind of jerry-rigged, but it hasn't failed yet, lol.

I attached my horn onto one of the sets of wires, but the new horn works with both buttons on the car, so yours might be the same.

Btw, your horn might be located on the opposite side since the turbo cars had the battery/intake etc on the left hand side.

If my explanation was confusing I can take a few quick pics for ya

Cheers

These pics came off my phone so they're sort of fuzzy... The first pic is what i thought was the original horn (it's the black thing behind the red horn). The 2nd pic is of the left hand side of the car, directly underneath the battery tray-- those are the actual horns. The 3rd pic is one of the funky clips that hold the wires to the horns in pic #2. Hope this can help...
