I believe that the sunroof in my 940 has jumped a guide on the passenger side, or maybe its the drivers side. the motor works fine and will raise the rear about half way before it stops.

the sunroof is cocked by about a half inch between the passenger and driver sides

I have found the headliner clips and barely been able to unclip them both. I cannot figure out how to slide the liner back so I can get to the mechanicals underneath.

I understand that I want to be VERY careful prying to avoid breaking things as much as possible.

any help/insight would be appreciated

Ok I got it apart... the passenger side piece that they say breaks pretty easy.... is broken...

piece of advice for taking these apart... START with the motor (or crank) in the middle... take that out... and things will free up and you can move things pretty easily by hand after that point... or at least thats what I believe...

2 new questions...

1) on the electric ones... how do you adjust them.... I imagine that you go all the way open or all the way to the "vent" position then install the motor all the way that way... right track or wrong track?

2) where do I pick up sunroof parts?
