I have a Volvo S80 2.9 (MY 2001) with a HU 801 radio/CD-player + CD changer.
Yesterday Í had the radio on and I wanted to switch to another radiostation. At that point the radio stopped (no music). Since then I'm not able to switch to another radiochannel. Everything is stucked. The CD-player and CD changer are still working fine. No problems there. I tried the hidden menus (on http://www3.sympatico.ca/p_bruno/volvo/) but without succes.

What could be wrong ?

Thomas

At the end, I went to the Volvo-dealer. He told me that the only solution was to replace the radio for a new one. The replacement costed € 300. I'm thinking of writing a letter to the Volvo "H.Q". You don't expect an expensive radio to break down in only 5 years.
