Got hit by a semi that clipped a corner at low speed.

The adjuster mentioned "repair of unibody frame" as part of his report.

My questions are

1. Can this be reliably repaired?

2. Is the car totalled?

I will tell you , being in that Volvo saved my life.

I don't know what 'unibody' refers to.

Plus, why didn't you ask the adjuster?

unibody refers to vehicles built with a one piece body. this means, no frame/body mounts. its all one piece. whereas something like a truck, has a separate body and frame, and requires mounts. most trucks, jeeps, and suv's are non-unibody vehicles, while most vans, cars, and light suvs are unibodys.
