I have a C70 2.4T 1999 model, i need to replace the brake discs all round at the same time i want to upgrade them to grooved ones. I've been told they come in two sizes 280mm and 302mm, does anyone know how cumbersome it is to replace them...or do i need a special tool.

many thanx

No special tools needed. Just remove the wheels, then the calipers and brackets, then there is a small pin that you have to take it off like a bolt. That pin holds the rotor. Replace the rotor and pads.
That's it.

Volvospeed - maintenence and repairs
Go to that link and find the category for your car. If for some reason the link won't work do a google search for "bay 13" and select the one for maintenance and repairs.
There is a very detailed description and pictures.
I put the Powerslot rotors from IPD on my C70, front and rear.
