55 last week when I bought my first (and last Volvo). Going back to old MB's.
The newer Volvo's are crap, the 122/Amazon was the last good one. P1800 wasn't bad either. 240DL is what I should have bought.
I do all my own work.

I'm as old as "Danish"...
Every year on my birthday, I mourn that I am 1 yr closer to death.

My 1999 S80 is my first Volvo and my first non-Japanese car.

I have previously avoided European cars because they were not as reliable as Japanese.....and then I bought a pre-2003 S80.....LOL

I could not resist the ride!

 I've turned 30 a month ago. And I'm not to young to drive Volvo if I look at all these young men here in this topic
I've got my drivinglicense since 1994 and have had a lot of cars... but my latest car (bought a year ago) is a V40, and it's THA BEST car I've had!

Brands and types of cars I've had:
- Ford Escort 1.6i (wrecked, someone parked his car into my trunk :( )
- Renault 5 GT Turbo (sold, was to expensive at age of 19..)
- Opel Kadett 1.3 (Vauxhall, sold because of new job-> got a leasecar)
- Opel Corsa 1.5D (Leasecar, broke down, garage was unable to repair it :haha: )
- Opel Corsa 1.9D (Leasecar, also broke down, repair took too long. Leasecompany recalled it)
- Opel Corsa 1.9D (Leasecar, out of contract)
- Peugeot 206 1.9D (leasecar, out of contract)
- Seat Ibiza 1.9 TDi 130HP (leasecar, out of contract)
- Opel Astra Stationwagon 2.0D (leasecar, out of contract)
- Ford Focus 1.9D (leasecar, got fired so had to turn in car)

SICK of leasecars I went looking for a Astra station, but for less more money I bought myself this Volvo V40 1.9TD from '98. It's a phase I, but I don't care: it drives comfortable! I guess I'll stick to Volvo from now on...

47 - feellike 77 in the back and lumbar (thank god for comfy volvo seats that ease my back - drive like a 25 yeqar old boy racer - I just love seeing the expression on other drivers of fast cars when my 440 smokes them off the lights- the 440 is definately a sports car in sheeps clothing as it seems to outhandle most non sports cars out there. (tricky keeping grip on wet drain covers though - there is a line of 5 I hit pulling off a roundabout on my route to work, I am used to correcting for the lack of grip now.
I've had 4 340/360's 2 440's and now 1 940 turbo too (as well as a 440) - thats great when it comes to moving stuff- throw a freezer in the back and there is still lots of space left. still work to be done on the 940.

27 here.

I had only driven Chrysler and GM things since I was 16. Got my first Volvo a couple years ago in the form of a '67 122S project car. Ended up selling it 6 months later (lost cause, unfortunately) in favor of my current '68 122S. Feb of '06 I sold my last American-made daily driver ('99 Buick Regal GS, which was a great car in its own right) and bought the '03 S60 T5. Fantastic car!

Hmm...3 Volvos in 2 years? I guess I felt the need to play catchup?
