38 Years Old...

I also figured that I'd be kinda on the lower end of the bell curve. Instead, it looks as if I am sliding down the hill quickly... :haha:

me 60 and volvo is 30

I drive volvo like I am 25 [before 25 I drove sports cars]

when I drive my beach buggy I am 17 :haha:

but for sure volvo changed from the "brick" concept over 10 years back and added a whole new customer base with that classic TV advert back then of the 2 German cops stopping a speeding volvo

"must be German car"

"no das ist Wolwo"

I'm older than this thread & that's pretty old too!

42, joints & lumbar spine feel 82, drive like I'm still a biker of 22 - WWWHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

No hat yet, but if any friends & family are reading this, remember that Christmas is closer than you think..... Got my eyes on a nice pair of brown driving gloves too

This is 3rd Volvo in a row, first was a 340, then a 440 & now a V40. Anyone notice a pattern here? Even scarier is the pattern of the prefixes of 3, 4 & V (Roman 5!). They don't do a 640 do they? Perhaps bank manager will let me have S60R next.

Best wishes to all near Gulf Coast at the moment, we're praying that you and your homes & businesses are safe.

QUOTE(IceBrick @ Apr 20 2005, 07:25 PM)
I'm only 56,  that would be about the average age of a Volvo owner when I was 20.

Ditto age here, feel like 21 w/ 6-spd and 300 hp.
When I drive my GTO, feel like 16 w/ 6-spd and 400 hp.

WOO HOO

Hi, I started driving Volvos when I was 30, back then it was a slow 240. In my 40s a faster 850 and 850R, and in my 50s an even faster S60T5 and S60R! I guess in my case the older you get the faster you want to go ( or I just want to beat HSVs)

I'm a 40-year young geeky girl that loves her S60. Grrrrrrrr. Makes me feel 18 too!

Nice to find motorheads such as myself -- I just need to learn more about cars :-)

As I was born on a leap day I will be 8 and a half at the end of February coming (that's 34 on my next false birthday - and that makes the insurance on my 440 1.9TD ultra-cheap at under £200 fully comp (oodles of NCB though).

This is my second Volvo - I used to take the mickey out of them for being boring cars but that old 340 turned my head and now I doubt I'll ever drive anything else.

I feel like my parents when I drive it - it makes me feel mature and sensible (when I'm sure I am anything but!). And since I am a parent myself now I love the extra safety.
