Mine was a 1969 Fiat 500L – very unlike my Volvo!. I got it when I was 16 and rebuilt it in time for my 17th birthday. It had a 499cc 2-cylinder engine giving an incredible 18bhp and no syncrmech on it's four-speed gearbox. You could just about hit 60mph downhill with a following wind. I fitted a later 650cc engine and could see 75mph – quite fast enough in something so small (it was only 9ft 9in long). I rolled it over and that was the end of that.

Mine was a 1982 VW Rabbit Diesel L, pumping a whopping 53hp, but I kept the oil changed and NEVER HAD 1 PROBLEM! I had it for about a year, and then sold it because it was just too damn slow, even though it got 40-50mpg. Couldn't kill it, though, even through the abuse of crazy country boy on back roads! :haha:

My first car was a 1980 Datsun 210. That car was so simple and reliable.
I traded it in after it reached 200K miles.

1975 BMW 2002. I loved that car. It was a white 5 speed with a crank open sunroof and leather interior. I was born in 1975 actually. I lived on Pensacola beach and I'm really lucky to be a quiet country living mom now and not dead or something after all the fun I had!
