'Allo - new to the forum. I posted a longer greeting in the S60 forum, so won't waste space here.

First XC90 question: Exactly what does the "Rear AC" button on the console do, and how does it interact with the rear climate knob? Both the manual and the online manual have just a cryptic sentence about it. My '00 Odyssey had a front setting that would let rear passengers use their controls to set temp and fan... but neither the manuals nor some experimentation have shown me what t'ell is happening here. Any enlightenment appreciated...

On my XC902.5T the rear AC button allows the 3rd row fans to work , and starts up the 2nd A/C unit to supply cooled air to the 3rd row seats . I don't recall seeing a rear climate control button in mine.
