Hi everyone.

Having just sold my V70 estate which I ran from new for 3 years without any problems I have now acquired a 1994 (manufactured 1993) 940 estate which is much roomier and allows me to carry more goods.

Seems to be running very well with only what appears to be one irritating minor problem.....The brake warning light is coming on when I operate the brake and the offside brake light is not working, but the tail light seems to be ok.
I changed the bulb twice even though the old bulbs seemed to be ok but I still have the same problem i.e. warning light coming on and brake light still not working.

Any suggestions would be very appreciated. Thanks. :)

well, if the lights are anything like a 740's lights, where you have a printed circuit board with plastic bulb holders, then try cleaning them off, and giggling it around. Mine was intermittantly working until i cleaned it off and such.
