Drives: 2006 Volvo V50 2.4
I've got my first oil and filter change at 5000km and has been told to get back for another oil and filter change and check-up at 10,000km. After that, I've been told by dealer to maintain oil and filter change at every 10,000km intervals, which is not at all the same as stated in the service book.

Therefore, what is your recommended oil change intervals? Should I just stick to the service book intervals? Thanks for reply.

I was told by my dealer here in Canada to change every 12,000 kms to stay within warranty guidelines.
