264 engine transplant, vn commodore motor

Newbie Group: Members Posts: 1 Joined: 4-December 04 Member No.: 1,689 Location: sunshine coast Drives: 1979 264 gle volvo Status: OFFLINE	after 14 years our volvo motor corroded through the engine block, so i fitted vn commodore engine and transmission , what a difference, much more power better economy cheaper to maintain. has anyone else done a similer conversion ?
