I just got my 98C70 back from the mechanic, but I cant find my Radio Code. I'm hoping...hard....that there is a small batch of codes for this yr. Anyone have any ideas? Not sure which model my radio is, but it does have an integrated 3 CD changer in it, if that helps any. Thanks in advance guys.

IF you pull the radio there is often a code on the back, bottom, side on a sticker - 4 digit - other option is to go to the dealer and see if they can show you another location for the code somewhere on the car. They are usually hidden somewhere on the vehicle.

Thanks.

I actually just pulled the radio, called the dealership, and had the code after about 2 minutes of flirting. The girl told me that they usually don't give the codes out over the phone. Who knew?

I went to the parts counter at the dealer to order a spare key for my "new" used C70, and had to show my registration. Without asking, they gave me a printout of the specs for my car including the radio code (which I had already).

My wife's S40 needed the code also, a few weeks earlier after a battery rundown, and I went to the Volvo Dealer service manager -- he pulled up the info from previous service, and wrote down the code for me.

Both times free. Good luck.
