Some little yob decided to yank the wing mirror off my wife's car [+ 5 others parked nearby]

Couldn't get an aftermarket replacement anywhere - so had to go to main dealer.

£132 + vat + fitting = £195 total :liebe011:

Looking on the bright side - the colour coded cover was salvaged saving her £60 + vat, as was the glass itself [another £10 saved] - the bill would have been £275 otherwise.

And .......... it could have been worse ............ follow me home lights model, [with puddle lights underneath], were even more expensive ........ as were those with automatic folding mirrors ........... and the dealer wouldn't even tell me what it would have cost for the model which is part of the seat/mirror memory type - he felt my heart couldn't take it !!!!!!!

Suffice to say, the 12,000 mile service was actually cheaper than the mirror replacement that was done at the same time!!

Volvos - we do love them.

Homer

And when you translate it into $'s - that's $467 - sounds even worse!!

Homer, at least you were able to get it fixed. Think about the poor looser that broke those 5 mirrors....all he has to show for his life is a broken Volvo mirror :harhar:
