Drives: 2005 XC90 T5 FWD
I am having a Drawtite Hitch installed next week on my 05 T5 XC 90 at a independent hitch dealer. Drawtite has recently discontinued their wiring harness for the XC 90 due to problems. The hitch dealer has another kit that isolates the trailer wiring from the volvo's wiring that will work fine. My dealer say's that I must use a Volvo Trailer Lights wiring Harness or I will have problems with the computer and wiring on the XC 90.
The harness from the dealer will cost $170 plus two hours labor- $168.

Has anyone had any experience with aftermarket wiring harness on the XC90.
