I have noticed that the seats do not get that warm. I use to have a jetta and the seats got really warm, so much you would have to turn them to half power. Has any one noticed this and is there anything you can do to make them get warmer.

Actually I found that they do get quite worm on mine. It takes few minutes for the heat to reach the upright part of the seat. Most of the time I push it to the second lower setting as it is too hot after a while.

Here is the thing, I never drive with a coat as I don't find myself enjoying the ride other wise and any hotter would start to burn. My thought is that it is the all point of heated seat: I can where what I would where normally inside my home.

I also don't want to damage the leather and heat is not the friend.

Just some thoughts. I’m sure every one is different. Some may have bought the heated seat because the car sits outside too long in the cold… Mime is in the garage. It is not treated but doesn’t get as cold as outside.

Even with a jacket on, my seat tends to get too warm for me after about 4-5 minutes if I leave it on the highest setting.
