Hello everyone, new user to the forum here so bare with me. I've been using the key to unlock and lock the car for some time since my key fob broke on me, but just last weekend i was unlocking my car and it was unlocked but would not let me open the door. It felt like it was still locked but it wasn't and it was not jammed like when you open the door as it unlocks. I assume that something inside is lose hopefully not broken, if anyone can help me with this or knows some instructions on opening the door panel up it would be greatly appreciate.

Oh, I just joined this site, because my dear Volvo (960, 1997) won't start. And I had to read your post, because I have the exact same problem besides not starting (for now, that's why I join this site).
I have been ignoring this handle issue for a year (might be even more). Blame my laziness.
