I've heard over and over again that 99-02 S80 owners are having to have their trannys rebuilt more that 1X.. On Volvospeed I read about a high performance tranny (although I think they are for the t-6). Question is this... does anyone know if these types of tranny rebuilds (or the trannys themselves) can be used in the 2.9L? If not - are there ANY more permanent fixes vs. spending 5K???

Rhhhiigggghhhhtt... but I don't have the history cuz I just bought it. Love it - comfy, rides excellent - but the repair costs. Should've come here first!
