Just to share. This is actually a link from a thread I started in the VOCM forum. Decided to post the DIY pictures here for better presentation:
The picture below shows the air cleaner box of my 240 after I took it out and removed the filter (stuck a light into it to emphasize the tiny hole at the top)

With the camera flash turned off (and a light bulb lighting the cover from the inside) you can see the small hole more clearly

Go to the hardware store and look for these rubber stoppers (be sure to get the right size). They are about RM 1.40 for 4 pieces

Plug that hole with the rubber stopper, put the filter back in and reinstall.

All done. Driving around after this I could feel the improved engine response especially at the lower RPM range.
