Hello People!

I have a volvo 440 94 M REG 1.8 SI. My parking light/sidelight bulbs wern't working and dont think have been working for quite a while now. I couldnt tell as my normal headlights are dimmed when the car is on anyway.

I thought my sidelight bulbs had blown, but this is not the case as I have purchased some bulbs, and they still don't work. Could somebody help me out and tell me what the problem is? I am not very mechanical with anything so step by step help is appreciated.

Thanks
Mits

Are the bulb holders corroded? If not & fuses are definitely OK, then try replacing the lighting relay (in the triangular black box under the bonnet, next to the bulkhead). Easy job once you've read inside the lid to identify which relay it is.

Good luck, please let us know how you get on Mits.

Regards.
