Hello,
I recently brought a 1993 440 2.0i for a bargain price,
it needs a bit of work which I started over the weekend.
The first job (of many) was to renew the bulbs on the instrument display panel.
I made the mistake of turning on the ignition without the airbag attached. Now the SRS light is constantly on on the dashboard (and i doubt the airbag is working).
Is there a way of resetting the switch.
Thanks in advance for any help.

I expect you've fixed it by now but exactly the same happened to me about six months ago. There is no choice but to get someone with volvo diagnostic equipment to reset it. I took the car to a very friendly independant Volvo dealer I know, spoke nicely to one of their mechanics and he did it in less than 5 mins for a 'no paperwork' drink! He restored my faith in human nature.
