I just ordered a new key for my friends Volvo. Is there a how-to for programming the key?

I doubt that the key will be any use to you without the programming. All up-I think it is about $560.00 for a new set of keys. I've noticed in some countries the keys are $200.00 odd dollars in local currency.

However, hopefully, you shall receive several replies from the experts soon.
