:P last night I visited my local fast food dealer, the one with the 'mac' range. outside was a gathering of the local Ford Fiesta Zetec-s club. dispite the looks of distain from the cap wearing youngsters at one of their own driving a vollie i collected my meal and sat in the car enjoying it. the group looked on in growing contempt until i left. they followed, trying to show their small car speed. leaving two consecutive junctions i left them all for dead in a shower of tyre smoke. i actually had no traction between lights! as they turned off the road and left me alone one of them pulled alongside and gave me a thumbs up. i think i'm finally getting street cred since they came along later and found where i lived! looks like there may be more youngsters driving volvos in the midlands soon!
i't reminds me of the time some kid in a souped up cosworth tried to race me. i didn't even have to try. do all volvo's beat everything with such luxurious ease? or is it my driving? :haha:

:cat: Hi there mong man.

You have to pick a better target. Try a traffic cop

Beat him and get a ticket to prove it.

Just promise to keep us posted!! :P

One problem with that.

The traffic cops over here have Volvo's as persuit cars.

Usualy modded T5's or R's.

S**t off a stick!!!!

:cat: Hi there I have a nut left over.

Start a race then. If the traffic cop takes too long to stop you-just tell the cop that he is slipping and his performance is simply not good enough. If his fancy Volvo could not catch you-maybe it had the wrong driver. Would the cop really want everybody in the UK to know that he is a poor driver?

How do you think that approach would go down with the cop? :P

I would be very interested to know. :haha:

Cheers :right:

I'll let you know if I ever find out.

I owned an ex-police 850T5R a couple of years back, 321BHP.
My dad bought it from me and has recently offered it back to me, as he's gone and bought an Jag XJR. I'm very very very tempted.

My old 850 used to eat Evo's, Imprezas and even some bikes alive.

Do you think a cop would buy a cruise control problem?

Must be worth trying if you ever get stopped.

Stu.

I did drag a cop (unmarked Police interceptor ) a few years ago. Got a ticket, but we both had to laugh.
