Hello World,

I have a 440 Si P plate and when I bought it it already had remote door unlocking via the remote fob which is not Volvo fob. I have been given a Volvo fob which came from an L Reg 440 and I am wondering if the Volvo fob has to be programmed by Volvo to get it to work on my doors. Also if it was reprogrammed would the immobiliser be programmed to work too?

If it's a Volvo system then I've never heard of anyone but a Volvo stealership that can programme a fob in, but I'm happy to learn otherwise of course!

Yes, the Volvo fitted immobiliser is activated/deactivated by the keyfob.
