:cat: Hi there everybody.

We now have a New Zealand forum. I think this will be very handy as I tend to forget dates, times, appointments etc.

I hope we can list various events around the country in the forum. That way, possibly, we might turn up together or at least on the same day for our functions.

If you know of anyone who used to belong to Jim's forum-it might be a nice gesture to invite them to join Volvo-forums and us in the sub-forum.

Cheers :right:

Hi Auckland,

I have just joined :)

My volvoadventures.com Forum and Guestbooks were flooded with Spammers, they were just registering with their websites for advertising all sort of products, I was fed-up with removing them every day.

There is a need for a good NZ Volvo Forum and hopefully this may just work for us.

Well, Auckland, not much seems to be happening in this NZ sub-forum...???? Where are all the NZ Volvo enthusiasts or don't they actually exist???? Please prove me wrong! JohnT.

:cat: Hi there John.

I might be completely off beam here-but your writing seems to indicate that you are very unhappy in this country.

I always caution people from other countries about coming here for anything else other than a visit.

To actually live and work here requires dramatic change from what you lived in before here and what you have come to.

I'm wondering if you should consider moving to Australia. Australia is a far superior culture and economy by comparison with ours.

Ours is a very slow momentum with a very small population.

You have moved into a city and area where 60% of the population earn less than NZ$30,000.00 per year. To demand more from them than that-is clear evidence that you are in the wrong area for your expectations and demands on society.

The last Volvo club magazine mentions several recent events in the Waikato area and I believe in the Auckland area also.

I understand that South Island representation is fairly thin on the ground.

Over to you.

Cheers :right:

:cat: Hi there.

Sorry. Your remarks indicated that you are unhappy with other Volvo owners not being the group which you demand they be.

I wonder how I misinterpreted your remarks!

Cheers :right:

I was just trying to shake things up a bit! And it did work... eventually! Heard from Dave Tuck + getting good communication with Jono in Ashburton. Now starting to look bit brighter...

Next thing will be to see if people actually want to join the newsgroup and generally add to the chat! The NZ Land Rover newsgroup I belong to is very lively... but the difference is that Land Rovers (and their owners!) don't get stuck in the mud!!!!! Kind regards, JohnT.
