Hello, how do I mount the rear speakers on a volvo 440? Do I need to remove the whole side skirt inside the trunk?

Hope you guys have some information about this..

Hi Frans.

There is a little "shelf" underneath both of the rear quarterlight windows, near where the upper mounting point is for the outer rear seatbelts. Each shelf has a round insert (a speaker hole blank) which can be easily popped out to leave a speaker mounting hole.

Yes I know where it is.. tehre are factory speakers in there.. but how do I get them out..?? You can't reach the srews because the hole is just as big as the speaker membrane.. I think the hloe interior panel needs to come out..
