Hi all. A rock cracked my glass bi-xenon headlight cover. Volvo does not sell just the glass, and wants $900.00 bucks just for the assembly...uninstalled. Seems a little steep for a cracked lens.

Two questions. Can just the lens be replaced [relatively easily] and does anyone sell them?

Thanks...and after this and the $50 dollar wiper blades, I will not buy another vovlo....this was my 5th and last.

:cat: Hi there. For what this is worth to you-Holden (Australia General Motors) charge $800.00 just for the rear tail light assembly. Labour is on top of that. It sounds to me as if the Volvo part is costed roughly the same way.

I know this is not much consolation to you-but I doubt that Volvo's prices are out of kilter with everybody else.

I broke a driving/fog light exactly the same way-the light $400.00 plus Labour. That light had to be brought from Sweden to New Zealand-like half way round the world. Our capital city is the lowest capital city in the world-you can't get much further away from Sweden than that. Transport costs must be factored into their prices.

We all have been there, done that and got the T shirt too. Sorry that this is not much better news-but-you are not alone :haha:

Cheers
