I regularly change brake pads in my other cars (Fords), and I would like to change Front Pads and Rotors in my daughters used S80 2.9L. Is there anything unusual or different about changing Volvo brakes? Any special tools, procedures? Thanks.

nope its easier. use tons of anti-squel, chafering the pads is a good idea. cycle them extra good. try to use volvo pads, cheap ones/ some metalic will make tons of noise.
