Before I spend a whole load of money replacing a number of bulbs (position lights, parking lights, indicator lights) with LED equivalents (expensive but last a whole lot longer) does anyone know if LEDs trigger the bulb failure messages on a 2001 V70?

I've read that certain headlamp conversions (xenon?) can trigger the bulb failure message because they use less power than the standard headlights but I'm not sure if the same is true if I use LED replacements for indicator/position/parking lights.
