I was fixing my seat heater button and here's how to remove the center console.
attached are the pictures:

1. open the arm rest
2. remove the small fap
3. remove the black screws
4. open the coin holder
5. remove two screws as shown
6. remove screws from ashtray
7. disconnect the wires (black & grey junction, and also from cigarette lighter)
8. remove the two screws
9. open the flap under the hand brake
10.pull the console back and up to remove!!!
