hi all seen all the sites for winter mode probs just slowly going through elimination tests.just, wondered if anyone actually tried cleaning checking the actual switch in console??? thanks dan. :liebe011:

You can try but most of the time it is the PNP switch that is bad.

:) hi tech how about just resetting the pnp switch .as the dash light just flashing now.from 2.3 gear seems ok.will not engage 1st for setting off.just so slow,thanks dan. :beer:

When there is a code in the system it will do that. It goes into Limp Home mode and starts off in either 2nd or 3rd gear.
You can try to clear it and se what happens. |

hi tech,tried clearing codes got only code 222,s2 selonoid open.any idea which is s2 selonoid.thanks dan,

S2 Soleniod is under the Black pan on the front of the transmission.
It is a pain to get to.Try clearing it one more time. |
