Newbie Group: Members Posts: 2 Joined: 25-January 06 Member No.: 11,049 Status: Location: USA Drives: vovlo 850 wagon	Hello, I was at a stop light and my 850 wagon just turned itself off. I restared the car and it was running fine but I am a little leary about driving it. A month or so ago a similar incident happened. I was approaching a stop sign in my neighborhood and all the indicator lights (ABS, oil light, low gas light, etc) came on but the car did not turn itself completley off and a moment or two later all the lights on the dash were off again. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Radio, AC are off, headlights are on and the brake was not applied. The car didn't lurch and the engine didn't "conk" out. When the power steering went out is when I noticed that the car had turned off. I put it in Park and it started right up, no problems. I had filled the tank up about a 20 minutes earlier. The car idles just below 1000 RPM. I haven't noticed a problem with the idling in the past.
