ok, so i am going to get a 2003 xc90 and i HATE the key fob, is there anyway to change the key fob to like a newer version like some sort of 3rd party way to make everything just fit on 1 thing.

instead of having it seprate
key + alarm

The one piece switchblade style key in remote Volvo offers is really a piece of crap. If you want it you might ask your Volvo parts specialist if it is backwards compatible with the 2003 model year.
