Newbie Group: Members Posts: 15 Joined: 14-March 05 Member No.: 3,798 Status: Location: Aberdeen, UK Drives: V70R & 850 Estate	Hi, I've attached a PDF of a spreadsheet showing our fuel savings since the end of November 2005. We had LPG installed into our 1995 2.5 10v 850 Estate. It makes interesting reading. Even adjusting for the 10% loss in efficiency we have saved almost £430 already! The spreadsheet shows the cost of LPG and how much the petrol would have cost at the same time. Hope it's of some interest. d Attached File(s) lpg_payback.pdf ( 6.65K ) Number of downloads: 43

I've been after this sort of info for a while now, you even have the same car as me :grin: How many miles you covering a year? Whilst it is obviously a long term investment £1700 seems a bit of an amount to spend on an 11 year old car, especialy as i only plan on about 12k a year. I take it your conversion is the latest multipoint injection types, these appear to be the only ones compatible with the 850's complex ECU. I also assume you started with a faily low milage engine as well!

I'm doing heaps of miles maybe 25k per year so it's a no brainer. At 12k per year it's too close to call ;-) I wanted to try LPG on the 850 before perhaps doing the V70R. Of course, however long the payback is you feel very smug at fuel stations straight away ;-) d
