I have a 94 850 and the passenger front abs sensor shows faulty via code reader.

The cable was split so i spliced in a new piece and reconnected it but that didn't seem to fix the problem. I am wondering now if i need to replace the cable or jsut the sensor? Any ideas.

try swapping sensors with the other side, if it goes away/ code switches side, thats it.

I hope this is not too late, but have you tried simply cleaning the sensor first?
