I need to replace my engine and want to know what the warrantee period
is on a brand new Volvo 850 engine. The dealer says only 1 year but that seems fairly short. Thanks in advance :)" |

yup 1yr/ 12k mi. i bought one, a freeze plug popped out at 11.9k miles. right under the turbo too.

1- year is about right for a spanking brand new engine.
A used, rebuilt one here, carries only a 3-month warranty... |

This is why I replaced my 850 with a 240! It was cheaper to buy the 240 than to replace the engine.

240's are so damn hot!!! love them... i got a 96 850 n/a and love it to death but i keep putting in the big bucks lol.. you name it i changed every emission ***.. two ball joints tie rods, new brakes tires, alignment, still need a hell of allot
abs module,brake lines, tune up, timing belt sep belt, upper engine mount, strurt bar bussiongs in the top .. yea about a couple thousand left to make it excellent.. and the car has about 153,000 |
