Hello,

I can't open my trunk. It seems it is stuck in the lock position. I tried to see if something was stuck where the lock is, by pulling down the back seat and looking in the trunk. There isn't anything stuck. I tried to see if there is a release mechanism in the trunk, but I can't seem to find it. The manual hasn't been much help either.

I wasn't having any problems before this. Please help. Thanks!

The button is known to be fragile & prone to this I am afraid.

You've already worked out how to get into the trunk via the rear seats. Once you've loosened or removed the panel covering the inside of the trunk lid, you'll have to operate the lock manually somehow (wire coat hanger, piece of wire, screwdriver...) so you can then replace the the button assembly.
