hi everyone,

i need to find out what are the sizes used for the torx screws in the volvo v50 t5.

i'm trying to replace the fog lamps, and they are secured with two torx screws. does anyone know what sizes are they?

so i can go get some various sizes which are applicable to the car.

Can't give you specifics on sizes, but as you'll find various sizes used all around the car, it's worthwhile investing in a good quality Torx set, either a screwdriver with lots of different sized Torx heads, or for larger sizes a ratchet set with Torx heads & a converter (or both!)

Hi there,

You'll need the Torx-25 screwdriver for most of the screws you'll find in your S40/V50.
Keep in mind that the S40/V50 are very modular, so removing parts is quite easy. When removing some part does not seem to work, most of the time you just missed a screw or two :P

Good luck.
